Urgent Update for Palestinians in East Jerusalem 
The closure of Israeli Ministry of Interior branches in Wadi al-Joz, Qalandiya, and Sur Baher since October 7, 2023, has left many Jerusalemites in crisis. Even after reopening, access to vital services like ID cards and laissez-passers has become nearly impossible due to a lack of available online appointments. This situation has led to widespread distress and the rise of illegal methods to secure appointments.
At Society of Saint Yves, we are actively pressuring the Ministry of Interior to ease access and ensure that services are available to all in a timely manner. We will continue to advocate for the rights of our community.
